Filament and Caring Hands Humane Society Launch Research Project and Capital Campaign Support

Filament Essential Services has begun a new partnership with Caring Hands Humane Society in Newton, Kansas—an organization deeply committed to protecting animals and strengthening the community through compassionate care.

The project begins with a focused Research and Discovery process, led by Filament’s Creative Services team, to gather insights that will guide Caring Hands’ future marketing and outreach efforts. Through interviews and analysis, we’ll help them better understand how they’re perceived and how to communicate their mission more clearly and effectively.

“This phase is all about listening—to internal voices, to supporters, and to the community,” said Matthew Landis, Director of Creative Services at Filament. “That understanding will serve as the foundation for a smarter, more strategic outreach plan.”

Running alongside this work, Filament’s Director of Nonprofit Innovation & Education, Randy Hawthorne, is consulting with Caring Hands on their capital campaign as they prepare to build a new facility. His guidance will help ensure the campaign is not only inspiring but also sustainable and well-supported.

We’re honored to support Caring Hands as they plan for a stronger future—one that helps even more animals find safety, healing, and a forever home.
