What do you do at our company?
As the AVP, Nonprofit Services, my job is to promote the products and services of Filament Essential Services, develop and implement goals and strategic plans, build relationships, research opportunities, and develop new and enhanced products and services that will retain and increase Filament’s market share.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?
For over 30 years, I have been directing and performing in staged plays and musicals. In addition, I am a student of improv and frequently use its dynamic principles in business communications.

What is your motto or personal mantra?
“Do not be concerned that you might set a target too high and fail. Be concerned that you will set it too low and succeed.” – Michelangelo

What is something on your Bucket List?
I would love to go on a bike tour through some European cities and countrysides.

What was your childhood dream job?
To work behind the scenes in television. I enjoyed acting as well, but the process of creating a TV show was fascinating.

What is one random fact about you?
I used to supervise the decoration of Rose Parade Floats for the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.

What hobbies do you enjoy?
I enjoy bike riding and have recently started playing Pickleball.

Other than Nebraska, have you lived elsewhere? If so, where, and what brought you to Nebraska?
I was born and raised in Arcadia, California, near Pasadena (Rose Bowl). I moved to Lincoln to support my wife’s fledgling career in broadcast journalism. We fell in love with the city and have been here ever since.
